In the heart of Monaco, Van Cleef & Arpels has reimagined its historic boutique on Place du Casino, a space where haute joaillerie meets architecture and emotion. As part of this transformation, I was entrusted by SILVA Paris to design a custom-made sofa for the boutique’s private lounge.

This piece was conceived to blend seamlessly into an environment defined by refinement, discretion, and light.
Nestled within soft cream tones and gently darkened wood, the sofa had to speak the same language: subtle, graceful, and purposeful.

From initial sketches to final proportions, every detail was crafted to serve the atmosphere. Curves were softened to invite, materials were chosen to complement the space, and the entire piece was designed to exist without ever imposing. More than a functional element, the sofa contributes to the boutique’s narrative — one of calm, beauty, and quiet sophistication.
